QUALITY ASSURANCE

  • Licensed Manufacturers

It is one thing for a company to guarantee what it makes. It is quite another for it to guarantee what others make, but that is exactly what we do. Working hand-in-hand with our licensed manufacturers, we approve every product that utilizes GORE-TEX® fabrics by putting them through rigorous evaluations in our labs and in real life conditions.

  • Factory Certification

Once a product is cleared for production, we support our Gore certified factories to meet our high manufacturing standards.

  • Retail Staff Training

Finally, when products arrive at retail stores, we train sales staff about our different fabric technologies so that they can help consumers find the right product for their needs. Every step of the way, we make sure that GORE-TEX® products are worthy of our GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY® promise. And that's our promise to you.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Our founders Bill and Vieve Gore understood and promoted the importance of respecting the environment. We are proud to carry on that tradition.

A focus in Gore’s Fabrics division is protecting people who enjoy the outdoors. At the same time, we recognize that in doing so, we need to consider the environment and efficiently use nature’s resources.

Our Fabrics division is committed to minimizing our environmental footprint through an active and responsible approach to the design and manufacture of our products and operation of our facilities.

This includes practices ranging from a Life Cycle Assessment of the total environmental influences of a finished product, to making sure our fabric manufacturing sites have implemented the bluesign® standard, which verifies that our manufacturing processes are carefully managed and equipped with the best available environmental controls.
