GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort boots are ideal for moderate and warmer conditions and for higher activity levels and are made of rugged, highly breathable and durably waterproof fabrics. The key is the extreme breathability of these boots which allows perspiration to escape rather than trapping it inside where it soaks into socks and shoes. Heat is also able to pass through the shoe, preventing feet from overheating and keeping sweat to a minimum. And don’t forget that all women’s GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort boots and shoes are totally waterproof, so while water vapor from sweat can get out, external moisture can’t get in.

To ensure maximum breathability, women’s GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort styles must pass the Comfort Test, where water vapor and water retention levels are measured at various temperatures to test breathability of all materials used, from the lining through to the outer material.
