GORE-TEX® Gloves

Extremities such as our hands are usually the first to get cold because they are the farthest from the body core and have a reduced blood flow. On top of that, often times our hands are left uncovered and exposed to the elements, further speeding up the cooling process. We’ve all experienced it—the pins and needles, then the numbness, and if it’s really bad, sometimes pain, too as the hands start to warm up again. Besides being uncomfortable, cold hands make it difficult to perform even the most menial tasks and are a quick way to end a day in the outdoors. When the temperature cools, keep your hands warm with a pair of our women’s GORE-TEX® gloves. Women’s GORE-TEX® gloves are more than just an extra layer—they’re scientifically designed to lock in warmth and keep out moisture while still allowing water from perspiration to escape. Neither wind, nor rain or snow can penetrate these gloves, yet hands can still breathe so that they stay sweat-free and dry. The key to this unique combination of protection is the patented GORE-TEX® membrane. This revolutionary membrane contains over 9 billion microscopic pores per square inch which are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times bigger than a molecule of moisture vapor. So while water in its liquid form cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX® membrane, as moisture vapor it can easily escape. Each pair of our GORE-TEX® gloves has the membrane fixed between the outer shell and the insulation, for women’s gloves that are highly breathable and totally windproof and waterproof for the ultimate in comfortable protection. Before you step outside, slip on a pair of our women’s GORE-TEX® gloves and feel the difference that intelligent design can make. Instead of cold hands, the only thing that will end your day in the outdoors is the setting sun.
