Women’s GORE-TEX® PACLITE® Shell jackets and pants are extremely breathable and ideal when weight and space are critical. To deliver such lightweight protection, we coat the GORE-TEX® membrane with a special protective layer made from an oleophobic (oil-hating) substance and carbon so that an extra lining is unnecessary. Without the extra lining, these jackets and pants become our lightest, most packable garments, great for cycling, hunting, travel or any activity where you want to keep weight and volume to a minimum. GORE-TEX® PACLITE® Shells also utilize GORE-SEAM® tape technology to ensure that even the tiny holes made by sewing machine needles are sealed, guaranteeing that our jackets and pants are 100% waterproof.
