My name is Manon Loschi, and I am a freeskier. I spend most of my time in the mountains, aiming to have the most fun possible. During the winter, I travel around the world to seek out good snow, film ski video projects, and participate in competitions, including the FWT (Freeride World Tour).
What do you love about GORE-TEX products?
GORE-TEX Products don't set any limits; they allow me to pursue my sport to the fullest. I can handle any situation or weather and simply focus on my skiing. Plus, they're incredibly stylish.
What is your favorite place and why?
My favorite place must be La Clusaz; it's my home ski resort. I know it by heart, and I can go skiing every day, finding a bunch of friends on the slopes to have the most fun with. However, for skiing, my favorite place might be Canada. There, I find the deepest and best snow along with the coolest terrain; it's like paradise to me.
What are your hobbies besides your main passion?
I love surfing and skateboarding so much. I mainly spend my non-winter time doing this.
What else is on your bucket list?
A trip to Japan to ski the fluffiest powder in the world! I went to Japan one time, but it was too early in the season, and I didn't have the chance to enjoy the Japanese powder.

What one item should never be missing when you’re on top of a mountain?
Skis!
