Ich habe den Regen schon als Kind sehr gehasst und bin bei schlechtem Wetter immer auf den Balkon, um „Liebe, liebe Sonne“ zu singen, was mich manchmal Stunden gekostet hat, bis sie mich erhört hat. Der Regen hat mir einfach immer einen großen Teil meiner Fröhlichkeit genommen.
Ich weiß nicht, war ich 14, 15 oder 16 Jahre alt, als ich angefangen habe, das Bergsteigen etwas zu verfolgen. Stefan Glowacz habe ich immer bewundert, der auf seinem rechten Ärmel immer groß die Aufschrift „GORE-TEX“ aufgedruckt hatte und dann habe ich mir das zu meinem großen Ziel gemacht.
Ich muss nicht klettern wie Stefan, aber ich möchte auch Mal „GORE-TEX“ auf meiner Bekleidung stehen haben! Und heute ist es so.
Was habe ich daraus gelernt? "Gib niemals auf an deine Träume zu glauben. Den Weg gibt es, man muss ihn nur gehen!"
Damals war es noch kein GORE-TEX Produkt, aber heute bin ich sehr stolz darauf, die Marke GORE-TEX zu tragen!!!
