Growing up in the Bavarian Alps, Philipp's parents introduced him to the beauty of nature from an early age. Following several years dedicated to ski mountaineering and trail running, Philipp unearthed an additional layer of his passion for adventure - one that frequently intertwines sports and history. This pursuit leads him to seek profound insights, akin to the revelations he experiences while navigating race flags. Now leveraging his professional role as an outdoor photographer and action videographer, he captures nature's exceptional moments and enduring emotions to share with others.

What is your favorite place and why?
I love the Berchtesgadener Land; it becomes a huge outdoor playground in the summer and winter. The area is perfect for road biking, scrambling and rock-climbing. It also has challenging mountain bike routes, awesome skiing and amazing running trails.
What are your hobbies, besides your main passion?
Outdoor photography and filmmaking. I aim to capture the atmosphere, mood and action while moving outdoors.
What else is on your bucket list?
Skiing in Norway and Iceland, discovering Russia with the Trans-Siberian Railway and paddling on the Yukon.
What is your personal wisdom, what would you like to share with the world?
The attraction of the impossible lies in the determination to eventually do it.
