Hi there, my name is Elli Glaser, or as my mom calls me when I’m in trouble, Elisabeth Glaser. I’m a freeride skier from South Tyrol, Italy, and I started skiing at the age of three. A few years later, I discovered the fresh powder off-piste, and soon freeride skiing became my passion. I started competing in the Freeride World Tour Qualifiers five years ago, and I really enjoy traveling, skiing, and meeting like-minded people.
What do you love about GORE-TEX products?
I love the fact that you can always rely on staying dry, even on the deepest powder days.
What is your favorite place and why?
To be honest, I don't have a favorite place, but I love the feeling of being outside when it snows.
What are your hobbies, besides your main passion?
I like to go downhill biking, hiking, cook, play the guitar, drive around in my van, or spend the night outside in a tent.
What else is on your bucket list?
I would love to travel to Japan in winter and try the famous Japow. I've seen a lot of ski movies that were filmed in Japan, and I've become obsessed with it.
What is your personal wisdom, what would you like to share with the world?
Be kind to all living beings and treat nature with respect.
