PARTICIPATION RULES: GORE-TEX E.O.F.T. Contest

The GORE-TEX Brand IMS Contest is being promoted by W. L. Gore & Associates (hereinafter referred to as the “Promoter”) and is subject to the official Participation Rules (in short: “Participation Rules”) as set out here. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. Making a purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

ELIGIBILITY:

All Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entering the Contest. Entry into the Contest is deemed full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Participation Rules. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. This Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. It is void wherever prohibited by law. Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members (parents, children, spouses or siblings) and household members (irrespective of whether they are related to the above mentioned persons) are not eligible to enter or win this Contest. The Contest is open to British residents only. There is no possibility of recourse to legal action.

CONTEST PERIOD/PARTICIPATION:

To participate in the Contest, the above-mentioned steps must be completed and submitted between Nov. 11th and Nov. 18th 2018 (23:59 MEZ).

A total count of one (1) Prize Winners will be selected from all Contest Entries submitted during the Contest Period. The Winners will be selected at random and notified under his entry comment. If the Prize Winner fails to contact the Promoter within 3 days, he/she will forgo his/her right to claim the Prize. In this case, the Promoter shall select another Prize Winner from the valid

Contest Entries or deal with the Prize in some other manner in which the Promoter deems appropriate.

PRIZES AND STATED SALES PRICES:

A total count of one (1) winner will be drawn.

The winner wins a personal meet & greet with Alex Megos on Nov. 26th 2018.

The meet & greet will be happening at the winners home. The winner will be allowed to invite friends and family.

The meet & great comprises a short live interview with both taking photos and videos*. Afterwards, the promoter provides snacks and drinks for a get-together.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

By accepting the Prize, the Prize Winner declares that he/she holds harmless the Promoter, the management board, the senior managers, other employees or authorized representatives from any and all injuries or damages suffered, or allegedly suffered, by any Entrant as a result of him/her entering this Contest. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to change the Contest Period and/or the Prizes without prior notification. All Participants consent to the Promoter publishing their names without any payment. At the time of Entry all Participants must have a valid email address. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for defective computer systems, hardware, software or programmes. Furthermore, no responsibility shall be accepted for defects, failures, delays in transmission or malfunction of networks, caused by human error or technical difficulties. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a person submitting an electronic Entry, the Entry shall be deemed to have been submitted by the “authorised account holder” in whose name the email account is registered, provided this person fulfils the criteria laid down in the section entitled “Eligibility”. An “authorised account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, an online service provider, or other organization (e.g. a commercial or educational institution) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

The Prize Winner agrees to inform him/herself about the participation requirements before taking part in the Contest and, furthermore, agrees only to take part in the Contest if he/she has the necessary technical skills and stamina levels. The Promoter reserves the right to asses the Prize Winners with regard to their technical skill and stamina levels (on the telephone or in writing) and to withdraw the Prize entitlement if the winning Participant does not appear to be suitable.

After receiving the notification that they have won, to ensure the delivery of the Prize, the Participants must send the Promoter an email confirming their contact details within 3 days of the date of the email notifying them that they have won. If the Prize Winner fails to contact the Promoter within 3 days he/she will forgo his/her right to claim the Prize. In this case the Promoter shall select another Prize Winner from the valid

Contest Entries or deal with the Prize in some other manner in which the Promoter deems appropriate.

The Participant grants the Promoter the right to use the images, videos and statements that he/she posts in connection with the Contest, without restrictions on their use in terms of time, place and purpose and across multiple media, for example print media, film and electronic media, including the Internet and social media. The usage rights include, but are not limited to, the right to edit modify or make other alterations to the images, videos and statements and to reproduce, publish and distribute the material in its original, modified, edited or altered form.
