After three years on the road with the GORE-TEX GEAR TOUR, one thing is clear: there are jackets out there that have seen more than most passports. They’ve kept you dry when the skies opened up. Shielded you from the wind as you crossed an exposed ridge. Helped you breathe when you were out of breath.
And then, one day—maybe it was subtle, maybe it was loud—rip! A tear. A hole. A zipper stuck. That moment not only frustrates, it often signals the end. Is it time to buy a new jacket?
But what if that moment was actually the beginning of something else? The decision not always to replace, but to restore.
A Second Life for your GORE-TEX Gear

The GORE-TEX GEAR TOUR is back, kicking off a new season in fall 2025. We are packed with sewing machines, repair tools, and a team of local experts full of knowledge on washing, care, and function. And of course, our strong belief that your GORE-TEX Gear deserves to be kept in-action.
We’ll be traveling across Europe offering free repairs on your damaged GORE-TEX Gear. We patch, reinforce, reactivate—and show you how to care for your gear so that it performs for years to come.
Built to Perform. Made to Last.

In a world where things are often replaced when they stop looking new, we take a different path: preserve what still works, and care for what you love. Because every repair extends the life of your GORE-TEX Product.
Our environmental assessments show that most of a product’s ecological impact—through raw materials, energy, and transport—happens during manufacturing. Washing and drying, by contrast, have far less impact. That’s where the GORE-TEX GEAR TOUR comes in.
The longer you use your gear, the smaller its environmental footprint becomes each year. Regular care, function restoration, small repairs: all these contribute to making your GORE-TEX products your companions not just for one, but for many adventures.
