Tamara Lunger is already a well-known mountain climbing legend: in 2014, she conquered the K2, the second highest summit in the world, and everyone could take part in her story during the last European Outdoor Filmtour. She’s also no stranger to running, as it’s one big passion of hers. Tamara already took part in the GORE-TEX Transalpine-Run twice and, together with her running companion, secured the first place back in 2014. Yes, you read that right: that’s the same year of her K2 expedition, with only 20 days between returning from her monumental summit climb and competing in the Transalpine-Run. Tamara has just taken part in the third GORE-TEX trail scout weekend from Sölden, Austria, to St. Leonhard in Italy in order to see the new route.
