César Barin is a snowboarder from Val Thorens, France, who brings a playful, multisport spirit to the mountains. The youngest rider competing in the 2026 Freeride World Tour, he is driven by movement, curiosity, and time spent in nature, whether riding steep lines on snow or chasing waves in Brittany.

What do you love about GORE-TEX® Products?

I love the quality and reliability of GORE-TEX® Products. The waterproof protection, sustainability aspects, leading technology, and attention to style and color make it gear I can trust.

What is your favorite place and why?

Val Thorens is my favorite place for snow because it's home and the riding is exceptional. In the summer, I love Brittany for surfing and chilling.

What are your hobbies besides your main passion?

SURFING, bike trips, climbing, and paragliding. I’m a multisport guy!

What else is on your bucket list?

I want to ride a tube while surfing, explore more couloirs on my snowboard, and spend more time in the mountains. Most importantly, I want to keep having fun, smiling, and spending as much time in nature as I can.

What is your personal wisdom; what would you like to share with the world?

I want to share the joy of a simple life. For me, it’s about sincerity, adventure, and beautiful landscapes, making others happy, and showing the importance of family and friends.

Which three words describe yourself?

Happy, joker, adventurer.

What one item should never be missing when you’re out there running?

Safety gear comes first: a shovel, probe, transceiver, helmet, and my phone.
