    One of Japan’s most renowned pro skateboarders, Mami has taken female pool and bowl skating to another level. Her flowing style and aggressive approach to both coping and transitions has seen her claim two medals at the X Games. Mami is also a keen snowboarder who brings a fresh perspective to what fun and self-fulfilment can look like.

     

    Taro Tamai

    A pioneer of Japanese snowboarding, Taro is one of the leading proponents of a culture called ‘snowsurf’, which he describes as “a philosophy, a lifestyle, a way to approach the mountain”. His business Gentemstick, meaning ‘Natural Way’, specializes in creating snowboards that enable riders to get the most out of being in the mountains.
