All times referred to herein are U.S.A. Eastern Time. The computer clock of Sponsor is the official time-keeping device in the Promotion. The Promotion is a random drawing of chance (“Sweepstakes”). Where appropriate, the Sweepstakes will be referred to as the “Promotion”.
ELIGIBILITY:
The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the forty-nine (49) United States and the District of Columbia, excluding Rhode Island and Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories and possessions, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time they enter the Promotion (except 19 in Alabama and Nebraska and 21 in Mississippi) and have a valid Instagram account. Not eligible for any portion of the Promotion are employees, officers and directors of W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), Sitka, and any of their subsidiaries and affiliates, respective parent companies, advertising, fulfillment and marketing agencies, (collectively, “Promotion Parties”), their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling & spouse and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not). By participating in the Promotion, you release, discharge and hold harmless the Promotion Parties, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents, from any and all damages whether direct or indirect, which may be due to or arise out of your participation in the Promotion or any portion thereof, or the acceptance, use/misuse or possession of any prize you may receive. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation.
TIMING:
- Phase 1: Entry Period: begins at 11:00:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on May 11, 2026, and ends at 11:00:00 AM EDT on June 1, 2026.
- Phase 2: (a) Random Drawing and (b) winner announcement: Four (4) winners will be randomly drawn from eligible comments submitted on the Sweepstakes Post on or about June 2, 2026. Four (4) random winners will be notified by Instagram direct message from the @goretexbrand official Instagram account with follow-up instructions.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE (Phase 1):
Go to the promotional post published by @goretexbrand on Instagram for this Promotion during the Entry Period (the “Sweepstakes Post”) and comment on the Sweepstakes Post by sharing your favorite GORE-TEX® Products experience or moment and your preferred product and size.
Upon commenting, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes (“Entry”). Limit of one (1) Entry per person throughout the Sweepstakes Entry Period.
By submitting an Entry, you hereby grant permission for your Entry to be entered into the Sweepstakes. You agree that Promotion Parties are not responsible for any unauthorized use of Entries by third parties. Promotion Parties do not guarantee the posting or receipt of any Entry. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, and each entrant releases Instagram from any and all liability arising out of or related to this Promotion.
REQUIREMENTS OF SWEEPSTAKES ENTRIES:
Entries may not contain, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, any content that:
- Is sexually explicit; violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, or sexual orientation;
- Promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message;
- Is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group;
- Appears to duplicate any other submitted Entries;
- Defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies;
- Contains copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings, and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media), without permission;
- Contains the name, likeness, voice, or other indicia identifying any person other than you, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead, unless express written consent is received and legal releases for such use in a form satisfactory to Sponsor are provided;
- Violates any law.
By submitting an Entry, you warrant and represent that you consent to the submission and use of the Entry in the Sweepstakes and to its use as otherwise set forth herein.
By submitting an Entry, you acknowledge and agree that Sponsor may receive other Entries under this Promotion that may be similar or identical to the Entry submitted by you, and you waive any and all claims you may have had, may have, and/or may have in the future, that any other Entry reviewed and/or used by Sponsor may be similar to your Entry and you understand that you will not be entitled to any compensation because of Sponsor’s use of such other similar or identical material.
SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING (Phase 2):
A random drawing occurs on or about June 2, 2026. The winners will be randomly selected by the Sponsor from all eligible entries received.
PUBLIC WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT (Phase 2):
The winners will be notified by Instagram direct message from @goretexbrand. Winners may also be announced on GORE-TEX® Brand’s Instagram account (@goretexbrand), subject to applicable law.

Prizes will be awarded only after a winner’s eligibility is verified by Sponsor. The potential Sweepstakes winner will be notified via direct message from the @goretexbrand Instagram channel asking for the potential winner’s contact email, confirmation of product size chosen and other information (such as shipping address) reasonably necessary for Sponsor to verify eligibility, administer the Promotion, and fulfill the prize, subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Notice, available at https://www.gore.com/privacy. Potential winner must respond within five (5) business days of sent direct message by Sponsor. The potential winner will be shipped the GORE-TEX® Jacket in the applicable color and size as available at the time of notification. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize, if the Prize Notification is returned undeliverable, or if the potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit that prize and the prize will be awarded to an alternate potential winner from among all non-winning eligible Entries received. Winners are expected to be contacted on or about June 2, 2026.
A total of four (4) sweepstakes prizes will be awarded to the winners randomly selected from the eligible United States Entries during the Promotion as detailed below.

The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Prize is approximately $500.
GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:
Limit of one (1) prize total per winner. If it is discovered during prize verification you have entered, attempted to enter, or used multiple accounts to enter more than the stated limit, you will be disqualified at the discretion of the administrator and any affected Entries will be void. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means, or by any means that subvert the entry process, are void. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Promotion Parties are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or undelivered prizes.
ENTRY CONTENT AND PUBLICITY:
By submitting an Entry, you agree that Sponsor may review and use your Entry for purposes of administering the Promotion. Entry into the Sweepstakes will not result in enrollment in marketing communications, and Sponsor will not use entrant information for marketing purposes. Personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes (such as Instagram handle, name, email address, and mailing address) will be used solely to verify eligibility, administer the Promotion, contact the winner, and fulfill prizes.
Personal information may be disclosed to service providers and fulfillment partners solely as necessary to administer the Promotion and deliver prizes. Sponsor will retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it will be securely deleted or de-identified.

Subject to applicable law, Sponsor may also use a winner’s name, Instagram handle, likeness, image, and/or Entry to announce the winner and promote the Promotion, without additional compensation, notification, or approval. Sponsor’s use of personal information will be governed by Sponsor’s Privacy Notice listed above.
GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS:
No prize substitution, cash equivalent of prizes, transfer or assignment of prizes is permitted, except by Sponsor which reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value, in its sole discretion. If any winner is considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Promotion Parties are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, corrupted, stolen, garbled, damaged, delayed, undelivered or misdirected Entries, all of which are void. Online Entries will be considered to be entered by the authorized account holder of the Instagram account submitted at time of Entry and he/she must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account holder is deemed as the natural person controls the Instagram account used to submit the Entry. By entering the Promotion, you recognize and agree that the entry information provided by you will be made available to Sponsor and not Instagram; use of such information will be governed by Sponsor’s privacy policy found in English at https://www.gore.com/privacy. Upon entering the Promotion, winners grant Sponsor the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use world-wide in any media now known or later developed, the winner's name, Instagram handle, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, city and state of residence, and biographical information for any purpose, including but not limited to, in advertisements, publicity, and other communications, worldwide, in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law. RELEASE:
As a condition of entering the Promotion, you agree (and agree to confirm in writing, if requested) that (1) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain awards for punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, and you hereby waive all rights to claim such damages; any claims, judgments or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket expenses; (2) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (3) in no event will you be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees and court costs. CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION:
Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants or winners, Sponsor, and administrator in connection with this Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Delaware without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Delaware or any other jurisdiction), which might otherwise cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Delaware. Any action seeking legal or equitable relief arising out of or relating to the Promotion or these Official Rules shall be brought only in the courts of the State of Delaware. You hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of said courts and waive any claim of forum non-conveniens or lack of personal jurisdiction they may have.
TAX INFORMATION:
All federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner.
Winner is solely responsible for all taxes and any costs or expenses associated with prize acceptance or use not expressly stated as being provided. Sponsor will issue required tax reporting forms as required by law.
