    Q&A with @the_oran_g, Osaka

GORE-TEX Studio: How would you describe yourself in one sentence? I’m the owner of a vintage clothing store, and you could say I have been nurtured by DJ culture.

GORE-TEX Studio: Tell us a bit about your city’s climate. What are your three favorite outdoor spots in the summer and the winter? What is your favorite method of transportation and why? How do you prepare for bad weather if you spend time outside? I live in Osaka, a place where the people and the city are always on edge, in a good way, whatever the season may be. My favorite spots in Osaka are Amerika-Mura in Osaka, Shinjuku in Tokyo, and East Los Angeles. My favorite mode of transportation is by bicycle If I'm spending time outdoors, I would add some technical and functional pieces to my outfit.

GORE-TEX Studio: What are you wearing today? Why are you wearing it, and did you have a particular weather scenario in mind when choosing this piece? What do you love most about your GORE-TEX product? I often wear classic workwear because I like it, and I choose my footwear depending on the weather. But today I’m wearing the ACRONYM J27-GT GORE-TEX jacket. When it comes to GORE-TEX products, I really like GORE-TEX INFINIUM. I own a hoodie with INFINIUM and it’s the best.

GORE-TEX Studio: Where and when did you get this? Do you have any special memories connected to this item? If you could go anywhere, where would you like to take this piece? I saw this jacket at BODEGA in Los Angles, and it was love at first sight. This is definitely my favorite GORE-TEX jacket that I’ve bought so far. I would like to wear this jacket all over the world!

GORE-TEX Studio: Why do you think functional clothing has become more popular in recent years? The details of this ACRONYM jacket are made to such a professional degree, it reminds me of products made for the military or for mountaineering. When you wear this jacket on the street, it’s really fresh.

GORE-TEX Studio: How do you define comfort when it comes to technical apparel? Of course when we’re talking about GORE-TEX, being comfortable means being waterproof. But I am also comfortable when I have a free and natural range of movement.

GORE-TEX Studio: What are you looking forward to in the next six months, and are there any upcoming challenges that you're excited about? I want to continue smelling more old clothes.
