Norse Projects has been working with the GORE-TEX brand since F/W 2017, creating a new standard for the Norse Projects outerwear line. The first two GORE-TEX products were the Rokkvi and Thor, two pieces that had become seasonal staples for Norse Projects.
The Rokkvi parka has been re-iterated over the seasons, but this statement piece retains its essence as a flagship product. The Rokkvi is offered as the original down-filled Rokkvi 5.0, and also as a shell.
Norse Projects’ range of GORE-TEX products consists of multiple styles including apparel and headwear. All products are created with GORE-TEX or GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® product technology.
Over the last few years, we endeavored to remove the barrier between the city and outdoors, for a much greater range of society. This idea resonates because it’s possible to make outerwear that is essential to the everyday wardrobe, now and into the future. Longevity and real value are two strong incentives to buy.
There is no longer the need for weight and compromise of the traditional rainwear, so it's possible to have a clean archetypal rain jacket ready to go anytime. Minimal weight, just as durable and importantly also repairable - that is such an important feature.
The partnership between Norse Projects and the GORE-TEX brand started with winter down-jackets. Now, Norse Projects’ shell range is combined with functional mid-layers to offer year-round versatility.
Norse Projects and the GORE-TEX brand have endeavored to create products that are both minimal and functional, simultaneously protective and durable. Both brands have also committed to sustainability goals, for example utilizing recycled face-fabrics.
