What to Do If You Spot a Wildfire
You’re walking along the trail when you catch the faint scent of burning ash.

With each step it grows a little stronger, but you figure it’s just someone camping nearby. Before long you round a bend, and that’s when you stop. Smoke is billowing from a section of burning trees. You fumble for your phone inside your pack and your hand trembles as you press 9-1-1. But it’s useless. There isn’t any reception that far away from civilization. Oh, and did we mention there are no other hikers for miles?

So what do you do?
